The Special FX Wiki is a collaborative project to create an extensive repository of information for all things related to the Special FX industry. This may include Cosmetics, Animatronics, Propmaking, and anything else related to the generation of illusions in the relms of film, theatre, and television. The database is organized in a wiki structure, which allows an incredible level of interconnectedness and expansion. We unofficially started on September 7 2006. • October 3, 2007: The Special FX Wiki has turned 1! Edits have slowed signifigantly since the project's inception, but this is normal for small projects such as this. Edits from 3rd parties are seen on occasion, and greatly appreciated.

I'm preparing to host my first panel on special effects makeup. This is part of [www.ohayocon.org Ohayocon], in the end of January 2009. My notes on the panel format are maintained in the demonstration article, which all are welcome to use for reference, or to organize demonstrations of their own.
